Thanks to social media sites like Twitter and Facebook, sharing pictures and info has become easier than ever. Still, people are trying to find even more simple ways to share stuff. In response to this need, iTunes now offers the Bump app.

No more emails

Bump lets you forgo the old method of emailing your friends and family photos and files. Alternatively you can immediately transfer contact info, music, or photos by actually bumping your phone against another phone.

Living up to its name

To transmit files using Bump all you need to do is literally “bump” your phone against another phone. First you have to open the app and choose the files you need to transfer. Touch your phone to another phone and bump your hands together. The app does the rest of the work and immediately transfers the files over.

You can also use Bump with your computer. You select “photos” or whatever option you want and tap your phone against your computer’s spacebar. Bump will then immediately transfer whatever files you have decided on to your computer.

A popular app

Bump was recently updated in June of this year and has gotten more and more popular, with 90 million downloads. The Bump app is now available for both iPhone and Android phones. If you want to make sending files and contact information to people as easy as possible, consider Bump.
